We are the A.R.K.

A.R.K. is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization that receives no state or federal funding. We are primarily funded by donations from the public, however, A.R.K. never charges to help an animal in need. Donations directly help provide food, care, and medicine to injured and orphaned wildlife.

Our Story

How We Began:
A Dream to Reality

A.R.K. Association to Rescue Kritters was founded in 2001 with the dream to become a wildlife rehabilitation center focused on helping injured and orphaned animals while promoting education about the wonders of our wild neighbors.

Twenty-five years later, A.R.K. has over 70 active volunteers on-site who help care for 1400-2000 animals admitted each year. Additionally, A.R.K. has educated thousands of children and adults through our wildlife education program, which gives people the opportunity to learn about and see non-releasable wildlife ambassadors in a close and personal setting.
